Tough times call for tough people.
The salespeople who act boldly and do the right actions will get excellent results.
One of my clients Murray, has a busy schedule but still prospects for one hour each day and every day something good happens for him.
Recently he got 3 listings in one day. How would you like three listings in one day?
If one person can do it, so can you.
The salespeople who get this wrong refuse to prospect; they sit and wait for someone to call them to put their property on the market, which doesn’t get sustained results.
The agents who do this get depressed by consuming all the bad news; they prove to themselves why it’s impossible to succeed.
However the salespeople who get this right thrive in markets like this. They don’t listen to all the bad news and get on with creating great results.
Generally they achieve financial independence within ten years, despite what the market is doing.
Here are three things you can do to have good times from this day forward:
1. Be Bold.
When you make a decision to be bold (in a nice way), great things will come into your life.
People who are timid or weak never seem to achieve much.
To overcome this, think boldly then act boldly and your life will change forever.
2. Move.
Get off your backside and make every moment count.
Moving creates momentum and this leads to motivation, which leads to results. So to be more motivated – get moving.
3. Enthusiasm.
Boldness with enthusiasm is contagious and irresistible to people.
During this time your enthusiasm abounds and people love enthusiastic people.
So by acting boldly and creating movement with enthusiasm, you are able to create many sales and become financially free within ten years.
There is a story about a migrant who started a fast food restaurant on a highway and did very well.
He was able to send his son to Harvard business school. When his son graduated he came back to his father’s business and told him how bad the economy was and that they needed to cut back.
Within two years they were out of business.
His father (who had never before listened to the news) thrived when he was bold, moving and enthusiastic, but when he was informed about how bad things were he slowly went out of business.
In 2007 there were about 15,000 economists in the United States and not one of them successfully predicted the GFC that started in 2008.
Don’t listen to the news, go and create your own market. You can do it just as I did by averaging 11 sales per month through a tough market that lasted for 12 years.
