If agents don’t have these three tools in place there are a few things that happen:
• They will likely feel sorry for themselves.
• Theirs minds are generally filled with negative thoughts.
• They find themselves saying things like “What’s the point?”
When I was selling real estate I had these three tools in place; and the agents I now work with also have them in place and they sell a lot of real estate while really enjoying their career.
Recently I received a text message from a client of mine, Jenayah saying thanks for giving her an idea which resulted in her winning a listing and selling that listing within eight days.
This was using one of the three tools that I will share today.
1. Enthusiasm
Act with enthusiasm in everything that you do.
No matter what happens, train your brain to think “That’s good!” enthusiastically, even when the news is terrible.
This forces you to look on the bright side of life and you will find the reason why a seemingly dark cloud has a silver lining.
When I had a buyer cool off I would say “That’s good!“, because I can use this to reduce the property.
After all I still had the listing and the opportunity to sell it. There is always something good in every situation in real estate.
2. Talk to more people about selling their house
I share how to do this at Success in Real Estate and Damon who came to my course in May called me recently and said he is now seeing and talking to many more people and his results are going through the roof.
So get to work and talk and see more people about finding out if they would like to move.
3. Overcome fear and doubt through acting boldly
By acting boldly, unforeseen forces come to your aid.
Motion creates emotion.
So if you don’t feel like doing something, do it anyway and do it now. Act immediately and get stuck into it.
Your results and everything you have in life have been created by your actions, so if you want more it’s quite simple – DO MORE!
Just imagine getting out of bed one morning and there is a knock on the door. Two muscly guys stand on your porch flexing their muscles with the words fear and doubt written on their foreheads.
You would probably get a fright, close the door and go back to the safety of your bed.
This happens on the hour, every hour throughout your day and each time you retreat from them you are weakened.
Until one day you get sick and tired of it, so you open the door with gusto and tell them to get out of your way… magically the fear and doubt disappear.
This is exactly what’s happening to you when you experience reluctance.
Whenever you are having call reluctance, get fed up with fear and doubt and act with gusto. Once you start making calls, the fear and doubt will disappear, immediately.
