Today I am going to talk about how active learning and strategic implementation were essential for one of my clients to achieve an extra 22 sold listings in just 8 months.

Strategic implementation is the one key to success in real estate. There is no point spending countless hours learning tools and techniques for real estate sales, if there is no strategy for implementation.

What we know:

  1. We must study every day in order to better ourselves and live to our true potential. The recommendation is usually 1 hour per day.
  2. We must study for 10,000 hours to become a master in our field.
  3. We must read a book per week.

These are excellent pieces of advice, but what is the point of collecting all of this knowledge if we don’t take the time to make it part of our world?

How many excellent tools, or pieces of actionable advice have you read and never put into action with strategic implementation?

Let me tell you about Jack – Jack came to Success in Real Estate and absorbed three days worth of training, and took home the 120-page manual.

But what Jack did next is where many people tend to fall down.

He implemented.

More than that, he systemised his implementation.

Here are three ways he used strategic implementation to improve his results:

  1. Repetition:He didn’t just attend the course, and leave and put the manual on the shelf and leave it there.

He wrote notes, he read scripts, he studied the practical step-by-step process for sales every day.

  2. Strategic implementation:He took every single script out into the field with him. He learnt it, then implemented it.

Before a listing appointment, he’d go through the fee saving scripts, or before prospecting he’d go through the prospecting tools. But the difference is he’d give it a go. He’d try them out immediately.

  3. Problem Solving Mastery:So every time he would implement, he would receive feedback in real time about which tools worked for him.
  1. The very next time he’d come across this problem he didn’t have to study it because he had implemented it last time, and it would pop into his head. This is how we move towards mastery. We implement, increase our confidence and ability and move forward.

Jack moved to mastery by doing exactly this.

Within 8 months he sold 22 extra houses, just from the strategies he learned.

Just recently when I spoke with him, he is now on the way to $1m in fees. Reading and amassing a large amount of information is like hoarding.

The information is stuck in our brains, unorganised and not being put to good use. Implementing the tools that we learn is creating flow – we learn, we use, we grow.

It’s like a river flowing into a larger basin. Once the technique is a part of our larger arsenal of skills, it remains there for use at a later date.

Obviously the tools within the sales process play a massive role in growing results.

For this reason, I have created my success in real estate program that includes a 120-page manual with reference guide, so you can flick to the section you need, just like Jack did.

If you want to know more about honing your skills in real estate, I have a full three day training program called Success in Real Estate which you can register for here.

At the beginning of the course you will be given a 120-page manual which includes all of my practical tools for overcoming the common obstacles in real estate sales. Put your name down now…
