Working with real estate agents brings up many common questions; one of the main ones is how to get real estate listings consistently.

The problem is, when we don’t have a consistent system for finding listings, we are on the roller coaster of real estate.

We have one good month or quarter and then we relax and fall into a terrible hole.

I know of a salesperson who had a $170,000 quarter and the very next quarter brought in just $12,000.

He was capable but not consistent and eventually left real estate. What a waste!

If you are not consistent then you must learn to get better at leading people.

Essentially you must learn to help people to make the right decision to list and buy with you.

Learn to lead which is much better than closing.

3. Self-discipline.

I have been reluctant to mention self-discipline because some people hear the word discipline and they turn off.

If something sounds difficult, many people shy away from it.

But this is not for you.

The power of self-disciple is incredible. It will turn your career around immediately.

“Do the things you know you have to do, whether you feel like it or not!”

You must prospect consistently, list, reduce and sell. This way you will have stability and consistently earn a great income from this wonderful world of real estate.
