Not feeling appreciated, loved or rewarded for your effort and time and in real estate?
I had a call from a salesperson today and he said, “I just don’t feel appreciated.” I asked him to explain.
He said, “I haven’t made a sale this month but have a lot cooking and the boss just doesn’t seem to appreciate me.”
It was essential that he changed his mindset so that he could reinvigorate his career.
I explained that he should put himself in his bosses shoes and ask how his boss might be feeling?
He started to see it from his bosses point of view and realised that he is worried about a good salesperson not making a sale, and that he has overheads to meet.
The salesperson also told me that there were others in the office doing better than him and he is usually the top salesperson – so he felt threatened.
1. When you are emotionally down, everything hurts.
And I mean everything. So you have to get out of this depressing state by realising motion creates emotion.
2. Get to work and use every moment in positive results-producing activities.
3. Do this consistently and do the tough tasks first.
4. How would you feel if you listed 3 properties this week and sold 2?
5. Remember what you did 90 days ago is a direct reflection on your results today.
