How to win more listings (with less work and stress) so you can take control of your market…

win more listingsThere are two essential skills needed for gaining control of your market:

  1. Creating listing opportunities.
  2. Securing the listing.

The people who struggle in real estate have a low rating in both of these skills.

  • What is the point of being the best listing agent in the world and only having very few opportunities?
  • What is the point of being the best listing finder in the world and then not being able to convert the listing appointment to a listing?
  • You cannot sell a house you have not listed…

The people who get this right are the people who prosper and enter the golden years of real estate quickly.

A client of mine Bec is going from strength to strength and is now listing an average of 10 properties per month and is on track to have her best year ever by implementing what I now share with you.

  • What is the most productive thing you can be doing every day?
    Is it prospecting or attending good listing appointments and securing listings? It’s securing good listings which is stating the obvious.
  • So what do you need to do to make sure you are attending one good qualified listing each day?
    Initially you need to master the art of prospecting. Once you have done this you must delegate this task so you can concentrate on listing good properties for sale. Your goal should be to be so busy with listing appointments that you don’t have time to prospect.
  • Hiring a listings finder.
    Once you have done this you must delegate this task – so find and hire a good listings finder so you can concentrate on listing good properties for sale.
  • Don’t think this is possible?
    Just think for one moment about all the phone prospecting calls you receive trying to sell you something – there are thousands of people doing this.
    Do not look for a prospector, look for someone who loves communicating and speaking with people and then show them how it’s done.

    Then give them clear instructions to keep your diary full of listing appointments. There are plenty of people who would love to do this for you. In my office every person that I invested a day with showing them the ropes in prospecting, went on to do great things. One young lad was good for 6 listings per month.

    How would your life change if you had six listings created for you every month?

So the keys here are to be attractive, be a great example to them and then pay them well.

You can and will find good people; this will keep you busy and help you to be very prosperous from your career in real estate.
