A question I am being asked is “how do you make high numbers of sales consistently in a tough market?”
There are people who don’t believe this is possible because they are not doing the right actions to create sales.
These people average between 1 and 2 sales per month and will never get rich and comfortable from a career in real estate.
The people who do the right actions increase their sales figures every month and then reach a high level, which they are comfortable at.
These people are true successes in real estate.
When I first started in real estate, I didn’t know what I was doing.
I was working hard but with very low results. I learned that you can work hard and long, doing the wrong actions and fail but by doing the right actions and working hard you can take over any market and be a great success in real estate.
This is how I did it.
1. If you think you can or can’t, you are right.
So think about all the positives in your market right now:
2. You must get paid.
Say these words, “If I am spending time with people I must get paid.”
From now on replace the word appraisal with listing appointment.
You get paid to list, not to appraise.
3. Get better every day.
Personally get better, improve all your relationships and improve you attitude, knowledge and skills – then take massive action.
You will turn your career and life into something wonderfully positive with a real sense of satisfaction from this day forward.
So all you have to do is get to work and strive to get better and do your best every day.
It’s like the professional athlete compared to the amateur. The professional gets up and trains hard every day and has a coach so that when their opportunity comes, they are ready.
The amateur doesn’t train as hard and takes it easy. When their opportunity comes, they blow it because they are not prepared and ready.
The same applies to real estate, if you study, practice, drill and rehearse for 1 hour per day and then get to work for the rest of every day, you will be at the top of your field within two years.
I know this for fact as I did it and if I can do it – so can you.
