Finding listings… NOW!
Do you need more listings? of course you do! Despite the market conditions listings are exactly what you need all the time. Well today I am going to cover finding more listings in 5 quick steps.
Today it’s more important to find more listings than ever as the market seems to be very good in most areas.
I was talking to an agent today and their average days on the market is 4 days and they have had a great sales month in October but now have very little left to sell.
If you want to have a great Christmas you need to list many properties in November!
Today, I am going to give you a five step procedure to follow to help you find more listings. Immediately.
Do not fall into the trap and start believing that December is a quiet month that’s ridiculous. I have sold houses on Christmas eve and New Years Eve.
December can be a good month for you and all you need to do is have the right houses for sale.
Lets have a look at the five things I used to get more listings in a hurry:
- Have a bullet proof mindset and be totally committed to finding listings. Ask yourself can I find one good listing today?
- Vow to prospect until you find a listing. Your career depends on it.
- Have good flyers going out consistently. One client for 4 listings in October worth over $40,000 in fees.
- Write at least one good wanted ad every week for each suburb you are working in. If you are not getting any calls from wanted ads they are not written well enough.
- Get at least one good testimonial for a happy seller every week and distribute this. I had a new fresh testimonial every week for 20 years. None of my competitors did this and we received 30 people phoning in per month for us to come out and look at their properties.
How much do you want to get more listings and therefore make more sales.
If you have a burning desire you will find more listings and make more sales.
There is a characteristic that all great salespeople have and that’s responsibility. I ask you to take total responsibility for everything in your life right now.
Be diligent and work hard now so you can receive substantial bonuses for Christmas so that you don’t have to use any credit over Christmas
Wishing you every Success In Real Estate!

It means that they relaly relaly want to sell it, or at least claim they do. It’s an invitation for people to make what might be a very low offer. I suppose your question is, if they’re extremely motivated’, how come they didn’t already accept a lower price. Well, since so much time has gone by, they may be much more motivated now than they were when they first listed the house. Maybe they’ll accept a much lower offer now than they would have 300 days ago. Maybe they just haven’t had any offers at all so couldn’t accept any.
