So today I want to share with you the biggest hurdle that a real estate agents face. I believe there are a few different stages throughout the real estate career. The worst thing I see is really enthusiastic agents who are either starting out, returning to the industry or even guys who have been around for a long time, and they aren’t making the sales to reflect their hard work. They are working so hard, putting in the hours, making the contact, prospecting and doing all the tough stuff and they just aren’t seeing the results. This seriously make me sad.
I don’t know if you have gathered this from my videos but I am seriously passionate about helping real estate agents to do well.
But really when we break it down you know you are doing the right thing because let’s think about what happens if you don’t reduce….
The thing is when I started, I was like that. I just worked and worked and worked, I missed spending time with my family to work hard at work, but I just couldnt see the results. And when this is happening, when you are working hard and doing long hours and not seeing the results, you become tempted to quit right? Well I did. I wrote my letter of resignation and was ready to quit.
But I found a trainer who taught the very basics and from there I was right. I sold 19 houses the next month. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly still had to put in the work and hours but I was seeing the results. I eventually achieved goals of taking my family to disney land, owning my dream home and loads of other great stuff. So if I can help you like the trainer helped me that day, it would make me so happy. I want to see you do well. That’s what drives me.

So instead of giving you long scripts I have developed a simple list of one line questions you can ask. Pick one that resonates with you and ask for the order. Then once you have this down pat you can move on to the longer scripts and rehearse them so they become yours.
See for me it was “Do you want to buy the house?’ – seems ridiculous doesnt it, but once I became comfortable with it, it became a genuine question and subsequently people seriously considered it. I don’t think it is a coincidence that 19 of the next buyers I met said yes.
