Today I share with you the quickest way to true wealth and how this has worked to help one agent find an extra 22 listings in 8 months.
I learned this strategy out of necessity. See when I was 30, I was broke and desperate and I hadn’t made a sale for 7 weeks.
This one strategy is the best investment I ever made by far and if you put this into place it will be worth millions to you. It has worked for me for the last 30 years.
Some salespeople are always looking for the new and shiny get-rich-quick-scheme and they jump from one thing to another. Quite often they end up with a blurred vision, not knowing the things to focus on that really matter. They make just enough to survive.
The salespeople who take this on board thrive, and stay focused on creating true success and happiness in their lives.

The very best investment you will ever make by far is to invest in yourself – to improve your attitude, knowledge, skill and action. When I learned about this I went from no sales in 7 weeks to 19 sales the very next month, and then averaged 11 sales a month for 12 consecutive years.
1. Positive self-talk
The first thing that holds you back is a negative attitude, which then leads to negative self-talk and from there, it’s a downward spiral.
The best thing you can do right now is snap out of it!
Force yourself to look at the bright side of life.
Change your negative self-talk to positive self-talk and believe the world is conspiring to do good things for you.
2. Knowledge
The best salespeople I know have a thirst for knowledge.
They are always looking to learn from people who have a good, proven track record.
They have a desire for wisdom.
They are always listening to a good audio programs in their cars.
There have been times when I have been listening to training material on my way to an appointment and the exact material I was listening to has then been used to help get me the listing.
3. Develop your skill-set to mastery
The third thing is to develop your skills to mastery so that no matter what may come your way, you can lead people to make the decision that is right for them.
4. Toughen up!
We must get to work and toughen up.
There is an old Chinese saying that says, “If you get knocked down 7 times, get up 8 times.”
An average plan implemented with gusto is always better than the perfect plan with no action. There are many people who wait for everything to be perfect before trying anything and they never get much done.
On the other hand the person who gives it a go to see if it works, and for some select strategies it does, is the reason that these people succeed.
Your mantra: “But what if it works?”
Last week I was given a prospecting idea when I was with a team that I am currently working with.
So I went door knocking with the team and Jack who I was door knocking with personally found three immediate sellers in three hours. Just from this one idea. That’s what happens when you have a go, without overthinking things.
When I started in real estate I struggled and it wasn’t until I invested in myself that my career took off like a rocket. I invested $700 of my last $1,000 in training and it made a massive, positive difference the very next month. This can happen for you too.
